Jilin University, located in Changchun City, Jilin Province, was founded in 1946. It is a key comprehensive university under the direct jurisdiction of China’s Ministry of Education. The College of Basic Medical Sciences, established in 1951, serves as a vital centre for basic medical education and scientific research.
The Bachelor Degree Programme in Clinical Medicine (Taught in English) — the MBBS programme — was established in alignment with WHO international standards for medical education. Over two decades, it has produced more than 1,000 graduates from 62 countries.
In April 2023, the College formally assumed responsibility for international undergraduate students in clinical medicine, placing student development at the heart of everything it does and producing outstanding medical professionals who contribute to healthcare globally.

- Upon receiving the pre-admission letter, pay management fees promptly to the regional office.
- All charges paid are non-refundable once processed.
- First-semester hostel fee depends on remaining days in the semester.

Apply for Student Visa (X Visa)
Use your Pre-Admission Letter and JW202 form to apply for a Chinese Student Visa at your nearest Chinese embassy.
06
Arrive & Register on Campus
Travel to Changchun, complete campus registration within the specified date, attend orientation, and begin your studies.
